November 4, MINSK. In Minsk, a drunk driver of a BMW damaged six cars, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
According to Lyubov Trepashko, senior inspector for agitation and propaganda of the OGAI of the Moscow police department of Minsk, the incident occurred on November 3 around midnight. Inspectors of the road patrol service of the OGAI of the Moskovsky district of Minsk received information about two accidents on Gazeta Zvezda Avenue. The driver of the car "BMW" touched vehicles parked in the yards and left the scene.
it turned out that the culprit, moving along the local passage of the newspaper "Zvezda" Avenue, collided with the cars "Chevrolet", "Opel" and left without stopping. Then he damaged four more cars: "Seat", "Hyundai" and two "BMW". As a result, he fled the scene and headed towards his home.
Inspectors of the traffic police department of the Moscow police department of Minsk detained the violator. It turned out to be a 35-year-old Minsker. A medical examination showed 2.85 ppm of ALCOHOL in the driver's body.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured. The vehicles received mechanical damage. The offender's car was placed in a guarded parking lot.
"Everyone should remember that when driving a vehicle while intoxicated, he puts his own life and other road users at risk," the UGAI said.
