COURT, on appeal, considered a criminal case against a resident of Bobruisk, accused of causing grievous bodily harm. The court's verdict was left unchanged, and the defendant's appeal was not satisfied. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Mogilev Regional Court. 
The accused in August last year, while in a state
ALCOHOL intoxication , quarreled with a drinking buddy. By that time, the defendant had already been living with his family for some time in the apartment of the woman who had suffered at his hands. When an argument broke out, the man struck her with at least six punches to the 
HEAD and at least one blow to her body with a wooden stick, thereby causing grievous bodily harm. 
At the court hearing, the rowdy partially admitted his guilt. 
The court found the defendant guilty of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm, that is, life-threatening injuries, and on the basis of Part 1 of Article 147 of the Criminal Code, sentenced him to imprisonment for four years, to be served in a correctional colony under a high-security regime. .
