Sanctions could lead to Belarus cutting off gas transit to Europe, Belarusian President ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO said in an interview with TRT, BelTA informs.

“If the sanctions they impose or will impose in the future put us in a state of emergency and we have no way out to respond in other ways to their sanctions, we will use this tough measure,” he said.

In November, a migration crisis occurred on the border of Belarus and Poland, when a convoy of migrants headed towards it from the Belarusian side.
