In the near future, MINSK will introduce a ban on the import to Belarus of a number of goods from countries that apply "illegal sanctions",which are aimed at “undermining sovereignty” and “deteriorating the well-being of Belarusian citizens”

Belarus, in response to "illegal external sanctions pressure," will ban the import of a number of goods from the EU and the UK, the country's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

“The resolution will be signed as soon as possible. The necessary measures will be taken to saturate the domestic market with similar goods from friendly countries," the ministry stressed.

Thus, in response to sanctions against the aviation industry in Belarus, which are based on "unfair competition", Minsk will take similar steps against airlines from the EU and the UK.

Moreover, Minsk will expand the list of persons undesirable for entry into the territory of Belarus and the Union State. The Belarusian authorities are also implementing a number of “non-public” steps.
