Vaccination of teenagers against coronavirus infection with the Sputnik M drug has begun in Moscow, the website of the mayor's office of the capital reports.

“Children began to get sick more often, and the percentage of hospitalized children with covid has also increased. Today, free and voluntary vaccination of adolescents aged 12–17 with the Sputnik M vaccine starts in 13 centers based on city children's polyclinics. You can make an appointment at a convenient point online or by phone, ”the message says.

For vaccination, a teenager must have a birth certificate or passport, as well as a compulsory medical insurance policy issued in Moscow (if the child is not attached to a medical organization in the capital). “You will also need SNILS. It is needed to obtain a vaccination certificate on the gosuslugi.ru portal," the headquarters said.

"Sputnik M" is a two-component vaccine, the second injection is given 21 days after the first.

Vaccination is possible only upon written application of parents or legal representatives and voluntary consent to medical intervention.
