S7 warned about halving transportation due to QR codes

“As S7 Airlines has previously stated, the requirement to check QR codes during check-in and boarding a flight requires detailed technological development. At the same time, we do not support checking QR codes when buying tickets,” the company said.

According to preliminary estimates by S7 Airlines, due to the introduction of such restrictions, passenger traffic on domestic flights may be reduced by 50%.
