Rogozin announced the transition of Roskosmos to the conclusion of contracts in rubles

State Corporation "Roskosmos" is switching to payments in rubles when concluding new contracts, said its HEAD Dmitry Rogozin. This was reported in the TELEGRAM channel of Roscosmos.

“Now we will conclude all our external contracts exclusively in rubles according to the same scheme as our hydrocarbon production companies will work,” the message says.

At the same time, in recent weeks, several foreign partners of the corporation, primarily European ones, have refused to cooperate with Roscosmos. For example, on March 17, the European Space Agency refused to continue working together on the ExoMars mission to explore the surface of Mars. In early March, the Swedish National Space Agency decided not to launch the MATS satellite to study atmospheric gases in orbit from the Vostochny Cosmodrome (launch was planned for the end of 2022).

President Vladimir Putin announced on March 23 at a meeting with members of the government that Russia would refuse to pay for gas "all currencies that compromised themselves" and would accept payment for it from "unfriendly" countries in rubles .
