71-year-old drunk driver detained in Minsk

January 24, MINSK. A 71-year-old drunk driver was detained in Minsk. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The day before, while on duty to ensure road safety, employees of the traffic police department of the Moscow District Department of Internal Affairs of the capital on Grushevskaya Street near building No. 91 stopped a Volkswagen car driven by a 71-year-old man with obvious signs of intoxication .

The driver was taken for examination. According to its results, 1.41 ppm of ALCOHOL was detected in the body of a man.

Administrative materials were drawn up against the violator, the car was delivered to a guarded parking lot.

The State traffic inspectorate recalls: for drunk driving, the administrative penalty depends on the concentration of alcohol in the blood or its vapors in the exhaled air: over 0.8 ppm - 200 base units with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for a period of five years.
