
November 8, MINSK. For 10 months, 97 crimes have been registered on Zybitskaya Street in Minsk, 63 of which are thefts. BelTA was informed about this in the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
Most often, smartphones, outerwear, bags are stolen, which Minsk residents and guests of the capital forget or carelessly leave unattended on bar counters or at tables.
About a quarter of the total number were crimes against the person: these are hooliganism, infliction of bodily harm of varying severity, and fraud. A significant part of both the perpetrators and the victims were in a state of extreme intoxication .
“Vacationers are strongly advised to be more careful and not leave their belongings unattended, in case of a crime, immediately contact the police,” the police department added.
