In the Krasnodar Territory, 10 covid hospitals returned to routine work

In the Krasnodar Territory, due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation, 10 out of 28 covid hospitals have returned to normal operation. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

The Tuapse Central District Hospital No. 3, the Yeysk Central District Hospital, the city hospitals of Goryachiy Klyuch and Anapa, the city hospital No. 1 of Novorossiysk were redeveloped. Two medical institutions in Krasnodar (city hospital No. 1, specialized psychiatric hospital No. 7) and three organizations in Sochi (city hospital No. 5, the Center for Maternal and Child Health, and the Dermatovenerologic Dispensary) also returned to normal operation.

“In recent weeks, the incidence of coronavirus and the number of hospitalizations in the Kuban has been decreasing. This allowed us to close 10 covid hospitals out of 28. In general, the number of beds for patients with coronavirus was halved. At the same time, 30% of the beds are free today,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev commented.

3,900 beds in 18 hospitals are ready to receive patients with coronavirus in the Krasnodar Territory. 3478 of them with oxygen supply, 573 are provided with ventilators.

As RBC Krasnodar reported, since the beginning of March, the daily incidence of coronavirus has been decreasing in the Krasnodar Territory. As of March 15, 544 new cases of infection were detected in the region.
