Oxygen supply in the departments of the COVID-hospital based in the Ufa Emergency Hospital will be fully restored by Thursday evening, October 14. This was announced by the chief physician of the BSPM Irina Karamova.

Earlier, a resident of Bashkiria, Flyura Khusniyarova, turned to the HEAD of the region, Radiy Khabirov, on social networks, saying that oxygen was “turned off” in the departments of the medical institution and saturation was falling in patients. The BSPM and the Ministry of HEALTH reported that the lack of oxygen was due to its undersupply to the medical facility.

Temporarily, fractional oxygen supply was introduced in the emergency hospital, oxygen concentrators were additionally distributed, oxygen supply was left in full for patients in intensive care.

“The supplier shipped an incomplete required amount of oxygen. The situation has been resolved, we have the necessary stock. Now everything possible is being done so that this situation does not arise, ”the Ministry of Health commented.

As RBC reported, earlier the Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that in a number of regions there were problems with medical oxygen supplies. The ministry is looking forward to "active work" with large companies to transfer oxygen from them to hospitals providing care for patients with CORONAVIRUS.
