Agrarians of the Stavropol Territory carefully prepared agricultural machinery for work in the field

Agricultural producers of the Stavropol Territory completed the current repair of agricultural machinery. Each enterprise has completed a fairly impressive amount of work, since it is planned to use 61.3 thousand pieces of equipment in the sowing campaign: combines, tractors, trucks, seeding units, tillage equipment.

Before the most responsible and important event, the farmers properly “upgraded” the machines.

“The repair readiness of the agricultural machinery fleet in the region is 98-100%. There will be very few attracted. From agricultural producers in the autumn cycle of field work, it is planned to involve 30.4 thousand people, including: machine operators - 11.8 thousand people, drivers - 3.8 thousand people, ”said Sergey Ridny, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.

In the municipalities of the region, the repair of agricultural machinery has been put on stream. MTM works all year round.

“For the successful implementation of the entire cycle of field work in the agricultural organizations of the Kumi region, agricultural machinery is being repaired throughout the year. The main volume of repair and restoration work falls on the autumn-winter time, when it is necessary to prepare the equipment as well as possible for the upcoming autumn or spring field work, ”said Nikolay Onipko, head of the agriculture department of the Budyonnovsky district.

Before the start of the autumn sowing, all agricultural organizations of the Kum region carefully prepared agricultural machinery: they carried out troubleshooting of faulty components and mechanisms, and purchased the necessary spare parts. More than 1,350 units of agricultural equipment will participate in the sowing campaign from the Budyonnovsky District, including 250 tractors, 102 plows, 160 cultivators, 304 seeders, 12 sowing complexes and other units.

“The efficiency of machinery in agriculture is supported by a system of maintenance and repair of machines. Timely preventive maintenance allows us to improve the technical characteristics of operated machines, improve their reliability, reduce operating costs,” explained Sergey Ridny, Deputy Head of the Stavropol Territory Agricultural Department.
