According to AD Libitum, wholesale prices for broiler carcasses increased by 17% year-on-year, and by 1% compared to a week ago, to 160 rubles per kg. Chicken fillet and wings went up by 3% over the past week, to 265 and 180 rubles per kg, respectively.

A sharp increase in prices for chicken MEAT was recorded at the end of April, but then this was explained by the seasonal rise in prices for poultry and meat on the eve of the May holidays, but already at the end of spring, prices for broilers traditionally fell.

Now the jump in prices is associated with increased EXPORT deliveries (mainly to Asian countries), as well as problems with spare parts for broiler slaughter and deboning equipment.
