The product fair at AGRO-2021 will be located near the Traktor Ice Arena, and the job fair will be held online

Preparations for the main agricultural exhibition of the Chelyabinsk region "AGRO-2021" are being completed. The event will be held from August 19 to 21 at the Traktor aircraft site. The Minister of Agriculture of the region Aleksey Kobylin, Deputy Minister Inna Podshivalova and Director of the First Exhibition Association - the operator of the exhibition - Svetlana Meshcheryakova told about what the visitors of the exhibition will see at a press conference.

“This is one of the events in the region, which is equally interesting for both industry professionals and residents of the region,” said Alexei Kobylin. “Here we discuss the activities of the agricultural industry, give Chelyabinsk residents the opportunity to see the achievements of the agro-industrial complex, including purchasing products manufactured in our and neighboring regions at affordable prices. Changes have been made to the traditional holding of the exhibition, which will allow fulfilling the basic sanitary and epidemiological requirements. This includes observance of the mask regime, social distance, and restrictions on seating capacity at business program events.

The site in front of the Traktor Ice Arena will host an extensive exposition, which will include stands of districts, leading agricultural and processing enterprises, companies producing equipment for the agro-industrial complex and machinery. There will also be a traditional exhibition of farm animals, which is very popular among visitors. Leading enterprises of the industry will present their breeding animals: SPK Koelginskoye, Pemzavod Rossiya, Sovkhoz Beregovoy, Karsakbaev's farm, OOO Preduralye, SPK Sarafanovo, Sovkhoz Bredinsky, Varshavskoye. Dairy and meat animal husbandry, horse breeding will be presented. Young visitors will be shown rabbits, goats and donkeys.

“We will hold a plenary session, which will be devoted to export issues, a trading and purchasing session of the Lenta federal retail hypermarket, a workshop session on the development of an export-oriented oilseeds market,” continued the Minister of Agriculture. - A fair will be organized: given that in June there was a problem with prices for borscht vegetables and potatoes throughout the country, we will organize a zone for trading seasonal products. Our agricultural enterprises will sell vegetables and potatoes at their own prices. In addition, the products of farmers and agricultural enterprises can be purchased in the tents of the districts. The grand opening of the exhibition will take place on August 19 at 12 noon.

The exhibition will be held in compliance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, observance of the mask regime. The filling of the hall where the business program will take place - this is the foyer of the Ice Arena - is provided for no more than 75 percent, said Inna Podshivalova, Deputy Minister of Agriculture.

— We dedicate our business program to export and foreign trade relations. The speakers will be representatives of the department of international cooperation and development of exports of agricultural products of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Budgetary Institution Agroexport, subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture, - says Inna Podshivalova. — Colleagues will speak on the topic of supporting exporters. We hope that enterprises involved in the export of agricultural products will take part in the discussion. We also invited Agroexport 168 LLC, which is a leader in the meat products market and helps Russian producers supply products to the Asian market. The representative of the company will talk about the peculiarities of working in China, the competitiveness of Russian products and their promotion to the Chinese market.

Director of the First Exhibition Association Svetlana Meshcheryakova spoke about the novelties of the agricultural exhibition Agro 2021.

“This year, Agro will bring together more municipal districts, more holdings, more farmers. We are re-introducing the sale of vegetables from cars,” shared Svetlana Meshcheryakova. - Another new one: a very large exposition of animals, we are adding an exhibition of poultry and pigeons. In addition to breeding animals, there will be donkeys, goats, and even a camel that will ride everyone. There will be three stands with free veterinary consultations for residents of the Chelyabinsk region. Pets will be vaccinated against coronavirus free of charge. On August 19 and 20, from 12:00 to 16:00, the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 3 will organize vaccination of exhibition visitors against COVID-19. Two types of vaccines will be vaccinated - Sputnik V, two-component, and Sputnik Light. The second component of the vaccine can be obtained by everyone at the address: Chelyabinsk, Pobedy Avenue, 287.

Another innovation that we introduced this year is a job fair, which will be held online on the big screen. Vacancies offered by agricultural producers and processing enterprises will be broadcast. More detailed information about them can be found on the exhibition website. All creative contests have been transferred online, but the product quality contest, which always takes place, remains offline.
