The Ministry of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk Region is changing the procedures for paying subsidies in order to speed up the delivery of state support funds to farmers. The first selection of agricultural producers for the payment of compensatory subsidies for the cultivation of agricultural crops is already being carried out. Farmers will receive funds in the total amount of 173.8 million rubles after two stages of selection in March.

For comparison, last year the first compensating subsidies were paid in May for potatoes and vegetables, and for cereals, oilseeds and fodder in June.

- Firstly, we have significantly shifted the selection deadlines to the beginning of the year. To do this, since the end of December, they began to accept documents for verification. Within a month (from December 28 to January 24), small businesses for which support is intended (these are the conditions for co-financing from the federal budget), submit documents for the past year in terms of the size of the sown area, confirm the use of conditioned seeds of zoned crop varieties, and must confirm the status of an agricultural producer . The list of crops is also determined by the terms of co-financing. From February 1 to February 14, the winners of the first stage of selection will be able to provide documents on the costs of production (according to the law, this can only be done from the beginning of the current financial year), after which the Ministry of Agriculture will make a final decision and calculate subsidies,

The payment of subsidies is carried out in accordance with the procedure for providing funds to support agricultural production in certain sub-sectors of crop and livestock production, approved by the decree of the regional government. Of the 173.8 million rubles, the largest amount - 163.5 million rubles (129.2 million from the federal and 34.3 million from the regional budgets) will be distributed in the form of compensation for the cultivation of grain, legumes, fodder and oilseeds, with the exception of rapeseed and soybeans, 4.7 million rubles (3.7 million from the federal and 1.0 million from the regional budget) will be distributed according to the results of selection for the cultivation of open ground vegetables and 5.6 million rubles (4.4 million and 1.2 million, respectively) - for growing potatoes. It should be noted that the cultivation of potatoes and vegetables is a priority industry for our region. limits, allocated for these areas in 2022 increased several times: for potatoes by 1.8 times, for open-ground vegetables by 2.5 times compared to 2021. Last year, 390 households and individual entrepreneurs took advantage of a similar subsidy.

In general, in 2022, out of the total amount of state support (2.6 billion rubles), including the costs of implementing the program for the integrated development of rural areas, it is planned to allocate 946 million rubles to the development of crop production.
