Western states expect to involve the states of the Eurasian Economic Union in putting pressure on Belarus. This was stated by the President of the Republic ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO at the online summit of the EAEU, according to the website of the HEAD of state.

“We have information that visitors from Western countries and the United States have already gone to your Foreign Ministries , persuading you to join the pressure on Belarus,” Lukashenka said.

According to him, the EAEU countries “will choke, inciting [them] against Belarus” so that they “join the sanctions against the country.”

“My request is that we be together, because this pressure will increase. The West will not limit itself to pressure on Belarus, RUSSIA,” the Belarusian president warned.
