The agro-industrial complex of the Kostroma region in 2022 increased production by 10%

Even more significant growth, according to him, was shown by farms - last year they increased output by 22%.

Sergei Sitnikov noted that last year the region's farmers received subsidies in the amount of more than half a billion rubles. This became possible thanks to the work of the regional administration with the Ministry of Agriculture, the HEAD of the region emphasized. As a result, the limits for concessional lending to farmers have been increased by almost three times. At preferential prices fixed for May 2021, agricultural enterprises purchased almost 6,000 tons of fertilizers, Sergei Sitnikov said.

"The regional administration more than doubled the amount of budget funds to compensate farmers for part of the costs of purchasing machinery and equipment. With regional support, 300 units of equipment were purchased, this is the largest amount of renovation in recent years," the head of the region emphasized.

16 million rubles last year were allocated to support enterprises that have committed themselves not to raise prices for socially important types of bakery products. As a result of the provision of state support, the average price per ton of bread in the region decreased by 1.5%, the governor noted.
