In the North Caucasus, in January-March 2022, the production of MILK and MEAT increased, while the production of eggs decreased. This is reported in the materials of the North Caucasus.

In particular, in January-March of this year, 208.3 thousand tons of meat were produced, which is 2% more than in the same period last year. Most meat was produced in the Stavropol Territory (128.7 thousand tons). In turn, the most significant growth in meat production was recorded in Ingushetia (by 19%).

Milk production in the North Caucasus Federal District in the first quarter of 2022 amounted to 539 thousand tons. This is 4.4% more than in the same period in 2021. Most milk was produced in Dagestan (155.1 thousand tons), production growth - in Ingushetia (21.4%).

During the specified period, the production of eggs in the North Caucasus decreased (by 0.6%, to 353.4 million pieces). The most significant decline in production is in North Ossetia (by 18.5%).
