Over the first nine months of this year, agricultural organizations in Kabardino-Balkaria increased livestock and poultry production (for slaughter, live weight) by almost 20 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
In physical terms, production in this category of agricultural producers amounted to 37,600 tons.
From January to September, the republic's agricultural enterprises produced approximately 5,000 tons of cattle , 1,600 tons of sheep and goats, and approximately 31,000 tons of poultry for slaughter, live weight. Growth was also noted in all three categories.
In the ranking of districts for livestock and poultry production (for slaughter, live weight), agricultural organizations in the Prokhladnensky District ranked first with 18,800 tons, followed by the Urvansky District, where production at agricultural organizations amounted to 6,700 tons. The Chegemsky District rounds out the top three, producing 4.4 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat (for slaughter in live weight).
