Grain drying complex, farms and honey bakery: 6 investment projects are planned in the Kanashsky district of Chuvashia

The municipality's achievements were noted in increasing the volume of residential building commissioning by 2%, a low unemployment rate of 0.33%, and an increase in average monthly wages by 15%.

According to the HEAD of the district, Sergei Mikhailov, over the year 5 medical and obstetric stations were built in the municipality, a cultural center for 100 people was opened as part of the national project "Culture", construction of a kindergarten-school for 205 children began in the village of Yanglichi under the program "Integrated development of rural areas" ".

In the agricultural sector, the district's indicators exceed the republic's average in terms of potato yields, support for self-employed people with personal subsidiary plots, as well as in the implementation of proactive budgeting projects.

“2022 was a record year for the harvest. Thanks to the farmers for maintaining such a high bar in 2023. The republic ended the year with an increase of 0.2% in the index of physical volume of agricultural products. In addition, per 100 hectares of farmland, Chuvashia is first in potato production in the Volga Federal District, in second place in MILK and vegetables, and fourth in MEAT and grain,” saidMinister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.

To increase production volumes, in 2024 , farmers of the Kanash District plan to implement 6 investment projects in the agro-industrial complex, including the construction of a livestock complex for 600 animals in the Kirov agricultural production complex, a grain drying complex in Kanash-Agro LLC, and several dairy farms will also be reconstructed , the Chuvash Honey bakery was opened.

Sergei Artamonov noted that in 2023, Chuvashia ended the year with an increase of 0.2% in the index of physical volume of agricultural products, and occupies a leading position in the production of potatoes, milk, vegetables, and is also in fourth place in meat and grain in the Volga Federal District.

Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister visited several districts of Chuvashia and plans to visit all of them before sowing.
