Sergei Dankvert noted that the staff of the Center needs to intensify their scientific work. “If we do not move in terms of science, then we will not achieve the desired results. Innovative products of ARRIAH should significantly increase its presence in the country,” said the HEAD of the service.
Ilya Chvala, FGBI ARRIAH Deputy DIRECTOR for Research, speaking at the meeting, said that the center is actively engaged in import substitution of veterinary vaccines for productive animals and poultry.
“We are focusing on the development of vaccines that can provide biological protection for the country,” said Ilya Chvala.
He clarified that FGBI ARRIAH is currently developing 10 new vaccines, registration of which is planned for 2023.
Thus, one of the new drugs is the MastitVak-EVA vaccine against bovine mastitis. The ARRIAH Deputy Director emphasized that the vaccine was made from strains isolated in the country's livestock farms, and there are no analogues of such a vaccine in RUSSIA.
