Residents of Russia will be able to travel relatively freely to other countries from about September this year, when the level of immunization of the population against CORONAVIRUS will be about 60%. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting organized by TASS with the heads of world news agencies.
“Somewhere in September we will reach the level of 60% immunization of the entire population. Only after that it will be possible to talk about wider access to our territory, and that our citizens will also be able to travel more freely to other countries, including European ones,” Putin said.
He noted that in order to accelerate the recovery of the tourism industry and the resumption of international travel, Western regulators should recognize the fact that “people vaccinated with our vaccines are no different from those vaccinated with Moderna or Pfizer.”

The President also commented on the “vaccine wars” and noted that false accusations against the first domestic drug against covid-19 are being made in order to compete.
