Reduction of supplies to the United States

Despite overall positive trends, sales of fresh and processed beef in the US fell by 46% in August amid additional tariffs imposed by the Donald Trump administration. As a result, the country lost its position as the second-largest market for Brazilian beef.

However, when considering all elements of the supply chain, including beef tallow, the United States remains the second-largest buyer. In August, exports to the North American market amounted to $136.4 million.
