The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, Sergei Voskresensky, as part of a report on the progress of seasonal field work, informed the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov about the increase in the area of ​​winter crops in the region.

“We have finished sowing winter crops. We are going up almost a thousand hectares in winter rapeseed and we have sown more winter grains by 8.4 thousand hectares this year compared to last year. We made a good start for the next year,” said Sergei Voskresensky.

Winter grain crops this year for the harvest of 2022 in the Moscow region were sown on 93.5 thousand hectares, winter rapeseed - 10.2 thousand hectares.

The leaders in winter sowing are the urban districts: Zaraisky, Lukhovitsky and the urban district of Serebryanye Prudy.
