The Moscow Region is developing its EXPORT potential in the agro-industrial complex. Thus, in the first six months, pork shipments from the region to various countries worldwide increased by 55.2% compared to the first half of 2024 , with the total shipment volume reaching 64,700 tons.
"The largest share of pork shipments in value terms went to CHINA – almost 21,000 tons were exported from the Moscow Region in the first six months. Other importing countries included Vietnam , Belarus , Kazakhstan , and other countries. Last year, the Moscow Region became a key supplier of pork abroad – 44% of deliveries, or 104,300 tons, came from the region, ranking first in RUSSIA," he noted.Sergey Dvoynykh, Minister of Agriculture
and Food of the Moscow Region, said: "The main pork exporters include Miratorg LLC and Cherkizovo Trading House LLC. The growth in supply volumes is driven by the transport and logistics infrastructure and the development of the agrohub in the Central Federal District. Overall, Moscow Region agricultural products are exported to over 80 countries worldwide."
