June 1, Ulaanbaatar.
Belarus plans to open a multi-brand center in Mongolia and help build a livestock farm. Negotiations on this matter in Ulaanbaatar on the eve of the state visit of the President of Belarus were held by members of the Belarusian government and representatives of enterprises, BELTA correspondent reports.
Already in the first
hours of the Belarusian delegation’s work on Mongolian soil, a number of bilateral cooperation documents were concluded, including with the participation of MAZ, Gomselmash, MTZ and Bobruiskagromash.
All these agreements were reached in development of issues that were discussed in
MINSK in January of this year at the seventh meeting of the joint Belarusian-Mongolian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.
“This will be an assembly of agricultural machinery, a multi-brand center in Mongolia, where all equipment and all technology will be presented, from sowing to harvesting crops. This is a wide range of cooperation. This includes seed farming, livestock farming, light industry, quarry equipment. This range is constantly expanding “As part of the visit of the
HEAD of state, agreements will be signed in all areas, from education, science, security, and so on. That is, this is cooperation for the entire range of relations between the two countries,” Alexander Rogozhnik, Minister of Industry and co-chairman of the intergovernmental commission from the Belarusian side, told reporters.
He noted that Belarusian technology has been known in Mongolia since Soviet times.
it is easy to maintain, repairable, and reliable in the climatic conditions of this country. “And we build relationships based on this,” the minister said.
Together with the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sergei Bartosh, the heads of Belarusian enterprises and organizations, Alexander Rogozhnik in Ulaanbaatar held a meeting with Mongolian colleagues and his counterpart - the co-chairman of the intergovernmental commission on the Mongolian side, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia Hayangaagiin Bolorchuluun. Sergei Bartosh said that the Mongolian side has an interest in the construction of livestock breeding facilities. “We can provide assistance in designing facilities, supporting construction, creating livestock and organizing the production process. The second direction is that the Mongols are interested in
MEAT and dairy
products , which they lack. We can offer
MILK powder for processing. In addition, the education of agricultural workers - those who will be directly involved in the production of livestock products,” the minister said.
According to him, Mongolia needs veterinary drugs, and in this regard there is potential for developing cooperation through the Belvitunifarm enterprise, which produces a wide range of vaccines and other drugs.
It is also planned to build a livestock farm using Belarusian technologies in Mongolia. “This will be the first such
farm . It is designed for 600 head
of free-stall cattle . They are interested in this, they have seen it with us and want to organize such production in this direction. In the future, we will develop it using our technology. This is a pilot project, as a showcase of our capabilities I think that in the future they will be interested in larger farms,” Sergei Bartosh is sure.
In turn, Hayangaagiin Bolorchuluun is confident that Belarus and Mongolia will be able to build good cooperation, despite the geographical distance from each other. “Although the countries are at a great distance, our soul is very close. Therefore, the Mongolian side is confident that despite any obstacles, we will definitely develop our bilateral cooperation. We perfectly understand and know that Belarus has extensive experience and is very developed in the fields of agriculture economy and industry. Therefore, we can learn a lot from you,” he said.
