The Arbitration Court introduced a monitoring procedure in the Reut company

By decision of the Arbitration COURT of the Kursk Region, a monitoring procedure was introduced in respect of Reut LLC.

The process of bankruptcy of the company, which was seriously affected by the outbreak of African swine fever in November last year, was initiated by Shchigrovsky Bread Products Plant JSC of the Russian House holding. 

The plaintiff filed a claim for the recovery of about 4.34 million rubles (4.264 million rubles of arrears in payment for goods and 74.1 thousand penalties for late payment, 44.7 thousand rubles of state duty expenses). The court fully satisfied the claim of the feed supplier.

Last year's outbreak of ASF, the protracted elimination of its consequences with the intervention of the Prosecutor General's Office and the destruction of a pig herd of almost 66 thousand heads led to a critical situation in the business of Reut LLC. At the beginning of this year, the company's debt to pay wages to staff reached 20 million rubles. Many workers quit and got jobs at the pig-breeding complexes of ABH Miratorg.

Quarantine at the sites rented by Reut LLC was removed only in June 2021 . In July, the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR fined the company 500 thousand rubles for violating the rules for the disposal of pigs. The company's net loss last year amounted to 33.26 million rubles.

Dmitry Dolotin, a representative of the union of arbitration managers Vozrozhdenie, has been appointed interim manager of Reut LLC. The court will hold a hearing on the results of the observation procedure on January 11, 2022.
