At the meeting of the State Duma Agrarian Committee discussed the fall in purchase prices for milk

At the meeting of the Agrarian Committee of the State Duma, a serious problem was discussed - the fall in purchase prices for MILK . Small producers - farmers and household plots - suffer the most from this. This was also discussed at the expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Council of the Association of Peasant (Farmer) Households and Agricultural Cooperatives of RUSSIA (AKKOR), which was held in Kazan as part of the All-Russian Field Day. Farmers from 33 associations spoke directly about the situation in the regions.

First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Agrarian Committee, President of the Association Vladimir Plotnikov provided specific data on the regions. So, in the Saratov region, milk is taken from farmers at 19 rubles / kg, in Udmurtia - 18 rubles / kg, in the Samara region from peasant farms - 16 rubles, from private household plots - 14 rubles. Purchase prices are falling everywhere and against the backdrop of rising costs, the deputy emphasized. More and more farms consider the threat of bankruptcy and livestock reduction a real threat. We must urgently take action before the village is left without cows.

At the same time, some dairy products continue to rise in price in retail sales. The price chain "producer-processor-trade" has been broken.

Vladimir Plotnikov: “A month and a half ago, together with the deputies of the Agrarian Committee, we applied to the Federal Antimonopoly Service. Unfortunately, the FAS is inactive. Purchase prices for milk continue to fall. In order to normalize the situation, it is necessary to unite all interested parties and take urgent concrete measures.”
