The driver with 3.3 ppm of alcohol was detained in Gomel

March 21, Gomel. In Homel, a Mercedes driver was detained with 3.3 ppm of ALCOHOL, BelTA was told in the department for agitation and propaganda of the traffic police department of the regional executive committee.

Information about the driver behind the wheel of a Mercedes, who behaves inadequately on the road, was reported to the traffic police by caring residents of Gomel. They said that the car constantly drives into the oncoming lane and poses a threat to other road users.

The traffic police inspectors, seeing the violator at the intersection of Internatsionalnaya St. and Lenin Ave., turned on the flashing beacons on the official car and went for a foreign car. "Mercedes" drove into the courtyard of the house and stopped. The police detained the man.

The violator turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of Gomel. He was in a state of extreme intoxication. According to the results of the examination, 3.3 ppm of alcohol was found in the driver's blood. Three administrative protocols were drawn up against the man, and the car was sent to a guarded parking lot.

The UGAI reminded: a driver driving in a state of intoxication, if his blood or exhaled air contains from 0.8 ppm of alcohol, faces a fine of 200 basic units and deprivation of rights for 5 years.

State traffic inspectors thanked caring people for their vigilance.
