The HEAD of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, and the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia, Alexander Kechaikin, arrived in the Kochkurovsky district on a working trip, where they inspected the production sites of the Progress agricultural cooperative.
Anton Pozdnyakov, head of the farm, which is part of the cooperative, said that the company is implementing an investment project worth 120 million rubles to raise geese and ducks. This is the only enterprise in the region that deals with waterfowl.
At the first stage in 2017, two buildings with an area of ​​2000 sq. m for the maintenance of 11 thousand geese. The cost of investments amounted to 13.7 million rubles, of which 7 million rubles were grant funds.
During the implementation of the second stage, the farm will purchase equipment for watering, feeding and keeping ducks, for which it is planned to spend 13.1 million rubles.
In the future, they plan to reconstruct and equip three more buildings with all the necessary communications and modern equipment. Progress plans to increase the production of poultry MEAT in live weight up to 1000 tons per year.
KFH Pozdnyakova is the only enterprise where a slaughterhouse for waterfowl was built, moreover, it is located near the places of its cultivation. Previously, birds were taken to neighboring republics for slaughter. With the implementation of the project, the number of jobs at the enterprise will more than double.
