The Council of Rectors of Universities in Moscow and the Moscow Region recommended that universities conduct training from November 8 in a mixed format with the possibility of full-time attendance at classes for students with immunity against covid-19 or a negative test. The letter of the council was published by the rector of the Moscow City Pedagogical University (MSPU) Igor Remorenko on FACEBOOK.

“The Council of Rectors recommends that university leaders conduct student training from November 8 in a mixed format with full-time presence for students with immunity or a negative test,” the letter says.
In addition, at the meeting, which took place on November 3, the heads of universities were recommended to speed up the process “to convince students to vaccinate as soon as possible in order to achieve herd immunity”, as well as to exchange practices on organizing training in conditions of high risks of COVID-19 infection.
The meeting of the council of rectors was also attended by the HEAD of the Moscow Department of Rospotrebnadzor Elena Andreeva, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Dmitry Afanasiev. The next meeting was recommended to be held in ten days to review the effect of the measures taken.
