November 14, MINSK . Criminal proceeds from unjustified intermediary activities of all participants in illegal activities in the dairy industry, taking into account the difference in prices in Belarus and RUSSIA, amounted to at least $10 million per year. A BELTA correspondent was informed about this by the State Security Committee.
it is reported that the DIRECTOR of Babushkina Krynka, Skitov, created preferential conditions for the shipment of finished products for his friend and the HEAD of a number of affiliated companies, Sirutya. Over time, Sirut literally monopolized the EXPORT flows of Babushkina Krynka. Without his approval, other business representatives could not obtain liquid goods from the dairy enterprise.
In addition, Skitov deliberately accumulated warehouse stocks. Under the pretext of the need to sell them, he sought a reduction in the indicative price for his enterprise . This made it possible to provide Sirutya with the maximum possible profit from the resale of products to Russia. In addition to bribes for the preferences provided, Sirut paid for Skitov’s leisure time. It is known that they regularly attended joint entertainment events, celebrations and business trips in Russia.
Taking into account all available information, the State Security Committee organized events to identify corrupt relationships between state processors and commercial structures throughout the country. Eight commercial groups were involved in the development. They established control over the export of products from a number of domestic dairy processing enterprises on favorable terms.
As noted in the State Security Committee, a distinctive feature of the activities of the owners of Belarusian companies was the presence of controlled business entities in Russia. Thus, this allowed them to sell dairy products with a minimal markup, and then sell the product to consumers at a higher price. This reduced the tax base.
According to specialists in the field, the criminal income from the unjustified intermediary activities of all participants in this scheme, taking into account the difference in prices in Belarus and Russia, amounted to at least $10 million a year. Operational and technical activities confirmed the management of affiliated companies in Russia from the territory of Belarus.
