The development of livestock breeding in Bashkortostan does not slow down

Since the beginning of 2023, agricultural producers of the Republic of Bashkortostan have purchased 1,185 heads of breeding young dairy cattle.

From other regions of the Russian Federation, 645 heads were imported, and the SPK them. Kirov, Kuyurgazinsky district, delivered 160 Simmental heifers from abroad, having purchased breeding animals in the Czech Republic. Recently, 200 heads of breeding heifers of the Holstein breed from the Kaliningrad region arrived at the SPK KOLKHOZ im. Salavat, Meleuzovsky district.

- Despite the difficulties, the farms of the republic, actively developing animal husbandry, continue to import highly productive breeding animals, including from abroad, - commented Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. – Everyone understands the importance of updating the dairy herd with high-quality breeding stock, this is the only way to count on a significant increase in performance. So, in 2022, Bashkir farmers purchased 3.9 thousand heads of breeding dairy cattle, including 761 heads in Germany.

Recall that in 2022 in Bashkortostan, the MILK productivity of cows amounted to 6632 kilograms, which is 425 kg higher than in 2021. Experts attribute the growth of indicators, including the active renewal of the dairy herd.

The acquisition by agricultural producers of breeding stock of cattle in Bashkortostan is subsidized in the amount of 50% of the costs, but not more than 60 thousand rubles per HEAD.
