From person to person: Rospotrebnadzor announced the mutation of bird flu

The HEAD of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, announced a possible imminent mutation of a new type of bird flu virus.

"The forecast that this will happen has a fairly high degree of probability. It will most likely happen," the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the Russian Federation warned. She noted that, fortunately, it was possible to see the emerging mutations before "the trouble came."
According to Popova, Russian scientists made a world-class discovery by seeing a mutation in bird flu before the virus became especially pathogenic and began to be transmitted from person to person.
“We have time to prepare: to make a test system, make a vaccine and monitor the situation,” the head of Rospotrebnadzor said in an interview with TASS.
A dangerous new type of disease was detected in several employees of a poultry farm in southern RUSSIA last month. In early March, poultry farms warned of the risk of cutting MEAT production amid the spread of bird flu.
Scientists have previously stated that the transition of the new H5N8 bird flu from person to person is a matter of time. Moreover, the new virus is many times worse than covid. Mortality can reach 60%.
