Exceeding the epidemiological threshold for influenza and SARS found in 37 regions of Russia

Exceeding the epidemic thresholds for influenza and SARS was recorded in 37 regions, the press service of Rospotrebnadzor reported.

“According to the total population, epidemic thresholds for the incidence of influenza and SARS have been exceeded in 37 constituent entities of the Russian Federation,” the report says.

Rospotrebnadzor specialists noted that this mainly concerns the adult population.

The department recalled that the country continues to vaccinate against influenza. According to Rospotrebnadzor, more than 40 million people have already been vaccinated in RUSSIA, which is 29% of the country's population.
