Market participants note that in 2021 the retail lending segment showed a sharp jump in the number and volume of loans issued. Representatives of banks in the Krasnodar Territory explain the figures by deferred demand, low rates and the operation of the state mortgage support program.
VTB in the Krasnodar Territory in January-November 2021 issued about 50 thousand retail loans for 54.1 billion rubles. This is 40% more than in the same period last year, Sergey Kadakin, a bank manager in the Kuban and the Republic of Adygea, told RBC Krasnodar.
“Customer demand for cash loans has been growing steadily since the beginning of spring. At the same time, against its background, the solvency of borrowers is preserved. We are closely monitoring the debt burden of our clients, preventing them from being overburdened, and actively refinancing their current loans,” comments Kadakin.
In the Krasnodar branch of Rosselkhozbank, they talk about an increase in the volume of consumer loans issued for 11 months of 2021 by 24% to 2.9 billion rubles.
The sharp increase in the issuance of consumer loans in 2021 is partly due to the low base effect, the press service of the Southern Regional Directorate of PJSC Bank Uralsib commented. In the Kuban, a financial institution for December 2021 recorded an increase in the issuance of cash loans by 22% compared to the previous year. The volume of car loans issued increased by 60%.
