The reason for this was the difficulties that arose as a result of the unstable situation in the Bryansk region, where the company had to suspend operations at five farms due to the conflict. In 2024 , the volume of beef production amounted to 202 thousand tons, but against the background of the forced slaughter of the main herd and the growth of culling of animals, which increased by 55% compared to the previous year, the forecasts for the future look disappointing. As a result, over the past two years, the number of maternal herds has decreased by 18%, which will affect the company's future production plans.
According to experts, full restoration of the production program will require three to five years, as well as the necessary investments to increase the herd. However, high credit costs and rising production costs create serious obstacles to the development of beef cattle breeding in the current economic conditions.
