Yuri Vasiltsov, May 30,
Minsk . A line for producing vitamin-rich herbal
flour will be launched in July at JSC Tikhinichi in the Rogachev District. This was announced to journalists by Yuri Vasiltsov,
Director of JSC Tikhinichi, before a meeting of the Board of the Presidential Property Management Department, a BELTA correspondent reports.
"Our company has developed an investment project for the implementation of a herbal flour production line. The production capacity will allow us to produce 2.5 tons of herbal flour per hour. What will this mean for us? This is a breakthrough in the livestock industry – we will replace grass feed by turning flour into granules. We will produce vitamin-rich herbal flour that will be used in feed production," noted Yuri Vasiltsov.
According to him, this will further increase the productivity of dairy herds and have a positive impact on the livestock industry. "The project is very interesting, so we're working on
it today. The equipment for the line is already 100% delivered, and everything is installed," he emphasized. "The line will be operational in early July."
Using pelleted feed significantly increases productivity (weight gain,
milk yield in
cattle , egg production in poultry), while the specific cost of vitamins in pelleted feed is significantly lower than that of synthetic vitamins. The vitamins themselves are also preserved longer in pellets. Secondly, pellets are more compact and easier to store, saving space in warehouses and hay storage facilities. Using pellets also facilitates feed distribution to animals, reduces losses during distribution, and saves on transportation costs. Similar equipment will be installed at Vasilishki JSC, which reports to the Presidential Property Management Department.
