Looking to the future, preserving history. We found out how the agricultural enterprise "September 17" lives

Until 1939, part of the Kletsk region, including the modern regional center itself, was part of Poland. A border outpost with a cavalry garrison was located in Kletsk, guarding the Polish "kres". And in the countryside, the lords, on whom the Belarusian peasants bent their backs, managed the farms. Pan Abukhovich managed the village of Velikaya Lipa. Having received liberation in 1939, Belarusian peasants organized a collective farm there , giving it the name "September 17". The modern boundaries of the economy may have changed, but it still exists. BELTA correspondents visited the farm on the eve of National Unity Day and found out how the heirs of the former master's farm laborers live.

What do the pages of history store?

The founding date of the collective farm "September 17" is considered to be February 1940. Thirty families, residents of the village of Velikaya Lipa, founded the farm, appointing Andrei Shapoval as chairman of the board. They cultivated 300 hectares of arable land. The second leader of "September 17" was Yulian Chizhevsky, who was killed by local bandits in 1945.

Following the example of the Velikolipsky peasants, similar small collective farms were organized by residents of the villages of Panyutichi, Klepachi, Krutoy Bereg, Vysokaya Lipa, and Boyars. The names for them were chosen with a Soviet accent - “New Way”, “Komsomolets”, “New Dawn”, “Beacon of Communism”, “Young Guard”.

And in 1951, five small collective farms were merged into one with a center in the village of Velikaya Lipa, leaving for it the name “September 17”. And the farm was headed by Vladimir Galushko. Another consolidation occurred eight years later, when the collective farm began to manage more than 5 thousand hectares of arable land.

From 1967 to 1992, “17 September” was directed by Grigory Sosnovsky. During this time, the farm achieved high production indicators: the material and technical base was strengthened, the MEAT and dairy sector was developed, the infrastructure was improved - roads and water pipelines were built, and gasification of populated areas was underway.

The center of the modern economy of JSC "17 September" is the agricultural town of Vysokaya Lipa.

"We look confidently into the future"

The fact that Polish lords once lived in the vicinity of Vysokaya Lipa is reminded only by individual buildings with historical flavor. The building of the former stables of the local master Abukhovich, the outbuilding, and the mill have the status of historical and cultural values. Order on their territory is maintained by the household.

As Artem Shestaperov, HEAD of JSC September 17, says, it is important for those living today not to forget history, but it is also important to look confidently into the future.

"We have 5 thousand hectares of land, of which 3.5 thousand hectares are farmland. Since the specialization of the farm remains livestock farming, we are developing this area and have 5.6 thousand heads of cattle , of which 1.9 thousand - milking herd. The purpose of crop production is to provide a feed base for the main industry, which allows for progressive development, because 70% of the revenue comes from the sale of livestock products. In the agricultural industry, we focus on winter grains - wheat and barley, we sow rapeseed, corn, SUGAR beets "- said Artem Shestaperov.

The 17 September machine and tractor park includes more than 50 tractors, 20 cars, 11 combines for various purposes.

“We have been actively constructing livestock breeding facilities for three years now. We commissioned a complex for the reproduction of heifers, and two years ago - an MTC for 500 heads of milking herd. We are now completing the construction of a complex for 800 cows. All this allows us to maintain production indicators. Over the past year, from each the cows received 9.6 thousand kg of MILK. Now the average daily milk yield is more than 27 kg," the manager notes.

Currently, the farm is preparing feed and harvesting sugar beets.

“We need to lay down at least 35 thousand tons of silage, 1.6 tons of flattened corn grain. The beet yield is more than 420 c/ha. We sell it to the Gorodeya Sugar Plant, taking the pulp. As for rapeseed, which makes up about 10% of the structure, then this crop provides livestock with meal. And this is a proven, correct strategy for the farm, proving its effectiveness," says Artem Shestaperov.

The main thing is people

JSC "17 September" employs about 300 people. The team is large, united by common goals of development and well-being.

"In order to maintain stability in the team, we try to keep the salary level quite high. In recent years, we have seriously updated the composition of specialists, forming a good, competent team. Only those who categorically do not want to stay in agriculture leave. Salary and housing are the basis, thanks to where personnel are assigned,” said Artem Shestaperov.

The farm has a comfortable dormitory. Housing is being renovated and built for families. The conditions are urban, especially since the agricultural town is gasified.

“Currently, a project is being prepared for the reconstruction of an eight-apartment building. So, issues of need will be removed. Everything is so that a person does not think about living conditions, but directs all his energy to work. And there are a lot of young people: in each service there are two or three people with status of young specialists,” the manager noted.

Anastasia Lobova is a graduate of Lyakhovichi Agrarian College. Works in a large team of veterinarians.

“I’m from Nesvizh. I’ve always had a great love for animals, and when I got an internship at 17 September, I realized that I really liked the work . Of course, there are some difficulties, but most often they relate to communications with people, because working "We need to be part of a team and look for an approach to everyone. We are all doing the same thing and we need to help each other," the veterinarian shared.

In the field of view of the specialist there are about a thousand heads of cattle , including young animals.

“There are a lot of events, from vaccination in the first two months of the calves’ life to constant monitoring of their condition. After all, the animal will not say how it feels, this is your area of responsibility. And I am happy with everything: the conditions, the salary, and housing,” noted young specialist.

Loader driver Sergei Kalenik is busy compacting silage. He's from the locals.

“I’ve been working on the farm for 40 years, my wife heads the complex. My parents worked on the farm all their lives. We love our village and never dreamed of a city. I used to harvest grain: in the carriage with my wife Svetlana we threshed 1.7 thousand tons of grain, for which we were "at Dazhynki they were awarded with Lada cars. This is a memorable moment in the biography," shares Sergei Kalenik.

By the way, Sergei Ivanovich is one of those who heard his grandmother’s memories of life under the lords.

“And among them there were also different people. But God forbid - to obey. And we are the masters of our land! I’m proud of my farm, so it’s a shame to work poorly,” summed up Sergei Kalenik.
