According to the Argus system, designed for veterinary supervision at the external border of the Customs Union, in January-June, Russian exporters increased sales of pork, lamb and goat MEAT, horse meat, offal and table eggs compared to the same period in 2022.
The volume of pork deliveries increased by 12% in general, including four times to Armenia and Serbia, and two times to Vietnam . Significantly increased purchases of food products of pig breeding Belarus , Hong Kong and Mongolia.
The supply of meat from small cattle increased almost three times. Iran became the main direction in this EXPORT segment. Horsemeat producers increased exports by 22% in the first half of 2023 . Sales of livestock by-products intended for human consumption increased by 34% compared to last year. CHINA , Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan are stable importers of Russian beef .
The most noticeable growth can be seen in the poultry meat segment, where China remains the main direction, followed by increasing purchases by importers from Vietnam, Benin, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Uzbekistan.
Table eggs from Russian poultry farms are purchased by Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are increasing their imports , the first batch has been shipped to Côte d'Ivoire. In total, the supply of food eggs increased by 1.5 times compared to the first half of 2022.
This year, based on the results of negotiations with foreign colleagues on nine types of livestock products, ROSSELKHOZNADZOR gained access to five world markets. The lists of suppliers of dairy products to China, Egypt and Saudi Arabia and meat products to Oman, Iran, China and Saudi Arabia have been expanded. The register of the Cerberus information system contains information on almost 5,000 exporters of products of animal origin.
