Uzbekistan has lifted temporary restrictions on the supply of MEAT products from Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the neighboring republic.
"The State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, from March 19, 2021, removed the previously introduced temporary restrictions on the import and transit through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of live birds (including ornamental birds), hatching eggs, down and feathers, poultry meat, eggs and other species poultry products, as well as used equipment for keeping, slaughtering and cutting birds from the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition, restrictions are lifted on the import and transit of live animals, raw meat and products from it, MILK and dairy products that have not been subjected to heat treatment. In addition, the supply of genetic material, wool, hair, bristles, trophies, intestinal raw materials, hides and skins, as well as used equipment for keeping and slaughtering animals from Shymkent and the Akmola region of Kazakhstan is allowed.
Recall: on September 25 last year, the authorities of Uzbekistan introduced temporary restrictions on the supply of Kazakh dairy and meat products due to the detection of anthrax in its composition.
