
In the Vadsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the construction of a MEAT processing plant will soon begin.
The investor, LLC Pravdinskoe Pig Production - 2, plans to invest about 20 billion rubles in the new enterprise. Now a subsidiary of the Norwegian holding RUSSIA Baltic Pork Invest (RBPI), a significant part of which is owned by the investment fund Charoen Pokphand Foods (Thailand), is developing design estimates.
The plant will process raw materials coming from all pig breeding complexes in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The capacity of the first stage will be 1.2 million pigs per year. The launch of the plant is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023, and reaching the design capacity is scheduled for 2024. After the expansion of assets, productivity should increase to 2 million heads per year. After the commissioning of the facility, about 500 new jobs will appear in the Vadsky district.
