The Lipetsk Meat company has suspended the purchase of beef in the Voronezh region

In an interview with the editor, Sergei Oganov, General DIRECTOR of Lipetsk Myaso LLC, noted that the corresponding decision was made in August, although supplies from partners from the Voronezh region were extremely profitable from the point of view of economics and logistics. When quarantine restrictions are lifted, it is planned to resume existing contacts, he added.

We remind you that in the last ten days of August, outbreaks of a particularly dangerous zoonosis were registered in the Bogucharsky and Paninsky districts of the Voronezh region, as well as in some settlements of the Kantemirovsky district. Nine people were hospitalized with anthrax. A state of emergency has been declared in the region. In connection with the violation of veterinary rules, which led to the supply of contaminated beef to the market at the shopping center “1000 little things” in Voronezh, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 249 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
