Two factors negatively affected the MEAT market in RUSSIA, expert Sergey Yushin pointed out.
The HEAD of the National Meat Association (NMA), Sergei Yushin, denied the information that prices for chicken meat in Russia would rise sharply in the near future.
Earlier it became known that a ban on the import of animal feed from Europe could allegedly be introduced. This will affect the cost of meat.
As Yushin explained, now in Russia there are interruptions in the supply of amino acids and vitamins for the production of high-quality feed.
The fact is that some enterprises did not comply with the requirements of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for quality and safety. In addition, there were logistical difficulties in the Chinese direction.
“We hope that the situation will normalize during the first half of 2022,” Yushin said.
As Polina Kirova, head of the Rybset analytical agency, said earlier, prices for red caviar in Russia have risen very strongly, but fishermen or retailers should not be blamed. Distributors of products who made a large margin and provoked a stir manage to earn money.
"Most of the caviar went frozen, including for EXPORT. The domestic market was deprived of caviar," the expert explained.
The parameters of the catch also affected. This year, only pink salmon showed good results. But there was a small shortage of chum salmon, sockeye salmon, coho salmon.
And economist Mikhail Belyaev warned that the decision of the Central Bank of Russia to raise the key rate immediately to 8.5% would not help in the fight against inflation in Russia. But the business will have to wait with the creation of jobs and wage increases.
"In our country, the roots of inflation lie not in the monetary sphere, but in the sphere of organizing trade and other industries where large companies dictate their will and their idea of prices."
