And recently, the breeding enterprise of the Tsivilsky District was awarded a patent for breeding work from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. And today 70 percent of the Russian market is occupied by Chuvash birds.

Goslings live here. This is how unique nests for growth are built for them. Comfortable temperature is maintained. Babies gain weight quickly. And this is what nine-day-old chicks look like - real tough ones. At nine weeks of age they already reach five kilograms. The young animals are being prepared for shipment to other regions. During the season, the company supplies more than 100 thousand heads.

The company provides breeding material, which includes hatching eggs and young animals, not only to all breeders and poultry farms in RUSSIA, but also exports them to Kazakhstan and Belarus .

Eggsgeese are also under close control. The incubation room is the quietest place in the breeding farm. One such cabinet can hold up to 6 thousand eggs. The productivity of geese is high: they can lay more than 50 eggs in 19 weeks. But in general, all individuals per season - more than half a million pieces. And, as experts say, other indicators of the Makulinsky cross are also encouraging. Therefore, the company received a patent for a selection achievement from the All-Russian Institute of Poultry Breeding.

“Several years ago there were control tests of this goose in the Czech Republic, this goose took first place, it is distinguished not only by the high quality of MEAT products, but also by the high quality of down and feather raw materials,” said Yakov Reuter, HEAD of the scientific direction of the All-Russian Research and Technological Institute of Poultry Farming.

Recently, Germany was interested in the Makulinsky goose. Five-star hotels use down and feathers from the Chuvash cross to fill pillows and blankets. Meanwhile, the process of obtaining such a hybrid is not at all fast. The work on developing a new domestic cross lasted 11 years. It is named after the name of the head of the enterprise. Each breeding individual even has a passport.

“All the birds are breeding, they have their own pedigree, they all have blood marks - this is a passport, when we open it, we know the whole history, grandparents,” noted the head of Vurnarets LLC, Alexander Makulin.

A cross is obtained by crossing several breeds. Makulinsky was created on the basis of Lindovskaya. Now the total livestock of the enterprise is more than 22 thousand individuals. On the Russian market, this hybrid accounts for 70 percent of the total geese population. Chuvashia is already well known for these birds. So, we can say that the new Chuvash brand has received recognition.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov congratulated Yakov Reuter and Alexander Makulin on their significant achievement.
