The Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko, as part of a working trip to the Nogliksky District, visited the MEAT processing plant that opened a month ago.

In March-April, the first meat processing plant in the north of Sakhalin produced more than 5,000 kilograms of semi-finished meat and sausage products. The management has a business plan for the development of another area - fish processing. Part of the equipment for the production of raw smoked products, dried and dried straw and fish preserves has already been purchased. A company store will open soon, where all this will be sold at manufacturer's prices.

Limarenko examined the production, tasted meat products and highly appreciated their taste. The governor advised not to delay the expansion of the market. It's time to arrange deliveries of dumplings, sausages and other products to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and other regions of the region, he said during the tour.

The general DIRECTOR of the enterprise, Katerina Ivanova, said that the company has a reserve to provide the island with locally produced food products. So far, the asset has not been fully utilized, but was originally designed for a ton of products per day.

State support helped Katerina Ivanova's team to organize meat processing: out of 30 million rubles spent on equipment, 17 million returned to the company's budget in the form of compensation. According to preliminary calculations, in five to seven years the workshop should reach full self-sufficiency.
