General construction work, arrangement of utility networks and communications, installation of equipment, landscaping of the territory, as well as the installation of new individual houses for bulls, continue at the site.
320 of the 1,280 houses have already been delivered to the site from CANADA - transportation was carried out by sea. Each container holds 160 sets (house, ventilation valves, buckets and bucket stand). Upon arrival in RUSSIA, the containers are reloaded and delivered by road to a special farm. Transportation of the houses will be completed by September.
For the comfort of the animals, there is a multi-level natural ventilation system, holders for buckets, which are located directly inside the house, which protects the food from possible precipitation; expanded area (almost 4 square meters) and height. This will increase the period of individual housing for bulls, and, accordingly, ensure the implementation of a new fattening strategy already at the start of rearing.
“Canadian houses fully meet our high requirements for quality, design and ergonomics,” says Svetlana Trofimova, DIRECTOR of the Department of Dairy and MEAT Animal Husbandry of the Agropromkomplektatsiya Group of Companies. – In Russia, we were unable to find all the components in a single design: some models did not fit in volume, others did not suit the quality of plastic, others did not stand up to criticism in design, so the search had to be directed towards Western manufacturers. However, agriculture is now actively developing and heading towards import substitution, so we hope that in the near future we will be able to meet the needs of livestock farms with high-quality domestic equipment.”
According to the planned schedule, the placement of bull calves into new houses will begin in June, and the implementation of the investment project will be completed in the spring of 2024 .
