In the North Caucasus Federal District, the number of people infected with coronavirus exceeded 460 thousand people

As of February 16, 3,720 people were diagnosed with CORONAVIRUS in the North Caucasus. This was reported on the Stopcoronavirus.rf website. Over the entire period, the number of people infected with covid in the North Caucasus Federal District amounted to 460,036 people.

In the first place in terms of the daily increase in patients is the Stavropol Territory (1,589 new cases). In second place is Dagestan, where another 638 patients with coronavirus were identified. The third line is occupied by Kabardino-Balkaria, where 510 new cases of infection were detected. Also, 365 cases were recorded in Ingushetia, 352 - in Karachay-Cherkessia, 203 - in North Ossetia, 63 - in Chechnya.

Over the past day, 2,743 people have recovered from covid-19 in the North Caucasus Federal District . In total for all time - 387,524 people. The leader in the number of recoveries from covid per day was the Stavropol Territory - 1,477 people. In second place is Dagestan (502 people), in third place is KBR (289 people). Also, 202 people recovered from the coronavirus in Ingushetia, 93 in the KChR, 92 in North Ossetia, and 88 in Chechnya.

During the day, 34 deaths from covid were recorded in the North Caucasus. In particular, in the Stavropol Territory - 13, seven each in Dagestan and the KBR, three in Ingushetia, two each in North Ossetia and Chechnya. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of deaths from COVID-19 has amounted to 15,423 people.

As RBC Kavkaz reported, on February 15, 3,479 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the North Caucasus Federal District.
