BioNTech CEO Denies Reports of COVID-19 Vaccination Refusal

Ugur Şahin, co-founder of the German company BioNTech, denied reports that he had not been vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS. The businessman personally announced this on the social network LinkedIn (blocked in RUSSIA), reports the German magazine Stern.

“There was misinformation on social media that I had allegedly not been vaccinated. In fact, my wife and I received three doses of the BioNTech vaccine,” Shaheen wrote.

The businessman also noted that he had been asked for several months to refute reports that he had not been vaccinated. “For several months, friends have been urging me to post a photo of me being vaccinated to dispel these false rumors,” said the HEAD of BioNTech.

The information that Shaheen had not been vaccinated against covid-19 was previously released as an excerpt from his interview. In particular, the businessman was asked why he had not yet been vaccinated. “At the moment I have no legal right to be vaccinated. We, of course, are considering the possibility of doing this, ”the head of BioNTech replied then. Stern explains that the interview in question took place a year ago, in December 2020, and an excerpt from it was used this year.
