June 9, MINSK . Belarus is counting on long-term cooperation with Zimbabwe in the field of agriculture. Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Brylo said this at a meeting with a delegation from Zimbabwe, BelTA has learned.

"We are counting on long-term cooperation. We will fulfill all agreements on the mechanization of agriculture in Zimbabwe. You yourself could see that our equipment was in demand on your land. You got more crops. We are also ready to offer our grain drying complexes . We have a well-developed production of this In addition, we could be useful to you in mechanizing technologies for storing vegetables and fruits - creating the temperature regime that allows you to sell vegetables and fruits all year round," said Igor Brylo.

According to him, the parties should also increase mutual deliveries of goods. “There are foodstuffs that are produced in Belarus, but not produced in Zimbabwe and vice versa,” the minister noted. “Another important area of ​​cooperation is the development of dairy cattle breeding in your country. You have a very favorable climate for this.”

Belarus supplies agricultural and other equipment to Zimbabwe and trains specialists. "We have created all the conditions for the training of foreign students in agricultural universities," the HEAD of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food emphasized.

As part of their stay in Belarus, the Zimbabwean delegation intends to visit Belarusian MILK and MEAT processing enterprises, take part in the 33rd international agricultural exhibition Belagro, and so on.
